The vineyard above the service station.
During construction of the Bressanone/Brixen service station, we planted a vineyard on the slope behind the building. Small is beautiful – that was our motto. The soil was found to be ideal for Riesling, which has been tended there with loving care ever since. Our very first wine is being bottled in 2016 – and you can taste and purchase it in our two service stations. With our own vineyard and winemaking activities, we have further strengthened our competence in the world of wine.
Pure nature in the glass.
In producing our wine, we have again let ourselves be guided by the principle of “Fine fare from SouthTyrol”. The result is a clear and convincing wine incorporating the colours and taste of the region – and a harmonious addition to our range of products. We must admit: for us, it is also a source of pride. How many service stations can say they have their very own wine?
We also have close ties with the best wine-growers in South Tyrol. As a result of these excellent partnerships, we are able to offer all their wines at vineyard prices. We stock wines from the following producers: Gumphof, Hoandl Nössing, Köfererhof, Pacherhof, Kuenhof, Strasserhof, Taschlerhof, Neustift Abbey, Hofstätter, Alois Lageder, Manincor, Cantina Terlano/Terlan Kellerei, Elena Walch, Waldgries and others. As a member of eisacktalWein we support and promote wine growing in Val d'Isarco.
Julian – made with love.
The vines planted above our service station have flourished and we have now bottled the first vintage. This 2016 Riesling is an elegant, fresh wine with mineral notes. It has the colors and the taste of the region – and the name of our son on the label. A fine, light companion to a range of dishes, made with love by Monika and Matthias Lanz.
